It's like an arcade-action game (with guns, obviously), meaning there are many levels in the game. If I remember correctly, you could level up your weapons and abilites in the menus before starting new missions. The graphics were bad-ass, the gunplay was wicked... and, well, you played as Vincent Valentine! o_O
