Aha. This finally makes sense of something NIS said a long time ago.

It may or not be that other game...

but a while ago NIS said they were going to make a PS3 game that would "make up" about how people said Disgea 3 looked like a PS2 game with a game that had good graphics not like there other series.

Ok so the graphics don't look amazing 3D wise... but they don't look like NIS 2-d graphics.

Great that ps3 gets more rpg but this is nothing for me :(

Looks like Trinity Universe will have two storylines, one good and one evil. The evil one has a devil dog as the protagonist (Kanata) and will feature Etna from Disgaea, as well as other Nippon Ichi characters (Prinny and Flonne?). Supposedly, the combat system is similar to Xenogears (AP system and skills assigned to three different buttons and inputting set sequences will do more damage).

hmm... that link says "the cross-over RPG of 2010", but actually it seems to me (but I'm not sure) the scan says the game will release this august (in Japan ofcourse)

Trinity universe looks awesome. Gust and Nippon Ichi ... that seems like a match made in heaven.

Nippon Ichi is doing all the directing of the Demon Lord Storyline and Gust is doing Goddess Story line.

Idea Factory is just doing the grunt work as the main developer.

Actually maybe they will say something about trophy patch for Disgaea 3 apart from new game.

ps3 is getting some rpgs at last, lets get them all localised now.
