So he's negative about a console? That's reason to get banned? If that were the case then a large number of people on this forum should be banned. I don't think I wrote anything that bad. But I knew I was playing with fire, considering there are so many hardcore XBox 360 and Microsoft fans there.

It was known in the Amiga community about me on NeoGAF, my SPE usages thread got covered as news on many dozens of websites (something I didn't expect).

I think if this mod reads back my comments (now having seen games like Killzone 2, or revealed sales data or Microsoft employee testimonials regarding hardware issues) or at least in a couple of years from now my comments will read much better.

No, we don't want him banned for hating the 360.  We want him banned because he uses all the wrong sources.  He uses dated sources, unrelated sources, anything to confuse most people to believe he is right.  We've come up with sources and stuff to prove he is wrong, and what does he do?  He quotes himself 4 times in a row to add more information to a previous source that was already proven wrong, but anything for him to keep continuing his misinformation and keep from admitting he was wrong.

Just glancing at his posts, he looks like a knowledgeable forum member with a good debate, but if you actually read through and check his sources, it doesn't add up.  Then once he's found out to be wrong he resorts to personal insults.  Just view the thread from his history called "360 DVD data limit is 6.8GB"

Also, he will do anything in his power to move threads off topic in order to promote Amiga and the PS3 and downplay the 360 by adding in unnecessary bashes.

Its not really a personal crusade given that my feelings are shared with many others.  If I were a moderator, he would have been gone ages ago, but for some reason the mods on here have tolerated him thus far.  Even the last 4 personal insults he made that seem to get everyone else banned were cleared by some mod as being OK.

 

Oh and look, MikeB is posting unrelated documents that no one can confirm as true in order to bolster his rep.  And of course any time MikeB is banned it is because the site is full of 360 fanboys   He can never admit he was wrong.

Also, Ausfalcon, I think we need to get some links of his conversing with himself on Moobunny to finally shut him up.

Trolling does not require foul language or getting personal to be trolling.  These are posts that summarize MikeB rather eloquently from folks here a long time.

I owned a XBox 360 and loved Kameo, for example. I do think the PS3 is much better in the bulk of regards from a technical standpoint.



Everyone in the end agreed to this 6.8 GB data limit per DVD regarding 360 games. In the end I just quoted from a developer PDF regarding actual drive performance. They say layer switching and other issues affects actual reading performance in their tests, that's in compliance with my earlier statements within that thread, so those quotes were added. You and others dragged that thread way off topic (like this one). I did my best to get that thread back on track.

That dosen't give you an excuse to counter that with your own BS Sony propaganda endlessly and to taint unrelated threads with it.  We know your Xbox story.  It broke on you, you got pissed and gave it to your little sister.  Get over it already.  I enjoy my PS3 and my Xbox 360 (also my Wii).  I've enjoyed systems from many manufacturers over the years.  I'll happily play Gears of War and Killzone.  I've had a Dreamcast die on me and an original Xbox DVD drive that gets flaky often these days.  But this Sony religion thing you have going on coupled with your business plans to want to work with them making you this relentless BS machine is getting as old here as it did at all the other sites you've had problems at.

Uhhhhh... Mike, after the 6.8GB was agreed on, you went on and on with wrong information about the 360 DVD drive vs the PS3 Blu-Ray drive.... AKA OFF TOPIC!

I was merely tired of your BS and that is why every time I see you doing this same crap, I am going to point it out.
