i was reading an article on n4g which says ms exclusive dlc deal runs out this month. apparently bathesda are launching a 3rd dlc pack which will most likely be multi plat.

i didnt enjoy f3. was walking around too much without a story to drive me 4ward. side quests dont do much for me. thats the biggest problem i have with open world games (with exception of yakuza, shenmu, true crime1 and zelda), they place you in a huge world and you are forced to do side missions or wander around for ages before the story gets going again.

its like what mr tarentino says, if the film loses its audiences attention even for a moment, they may be losing the audience altogether.

or that others didn't buy the PS3, making it a commercially viable option to put broken steel on the PS3?

I know it's hard to accept, but the PS3 is not going to get all the games this gen. And if you get pissed off every time it doesn't get a game, you are going to spend this gen an unhappy person. I loved my gamecube last gen, and it certanly got less 3rd party support than the PS3. The glass is half full :)

I have a game that I love VERY much, I hear about the DLC and I'm excited, I find out it's not coming to PS3, and it turns I have to buy the 360 or PC version and spend MORE money on the DLC.

Btw, I didn't know it was announced at E3 but as I recall, aren't the DLCs' timed exclusives?

I know exactly what you mean. My only decent computer is a Mac and I owned a Gamecube last generation. I agree that it sucks when you have to miss out on awesome games. But it can't be helped (well, unless you have enough money to buy a gaming pc, and all the consoles and portables), and theres no point getting pissed about it

I'm not 'pissed' but I don't like exclusive DLC in general. I think it's a poor strategy from consumer perspective. In this case what I don't like is that it has produced two materially different versions of the same game.

I thought the decision to have a hard ending was silly anyway - but now it's been removed magically on one console I find the whole thing even sillier.
