If you're keeping out western games I don't know how God of War 3 got on your list. Not only is it not relevant to Japan, it sells like ass there too.

Excitebots in the latest entry in a Japanese franchise that has recently ended up in the hands of western developers (similar to Metroid). And Kensax is directly from Nintendo...

But I'm keeping Punch-Out too, which is Western developed. Both will be bigger than Excitebots or Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. COD4 sold more than ExciteTrucks, yet I'm not adding any of the sequels.

And about Kensax, then I should also be adding the Toro mini game collection from Sony, but I don't think any of those will be relevant at all.

recently? the "franchise" has been in the hands of western devs for about 10 years (Excitebike 64 was from a western dev) .. that makes 3of4 games western developements

The list only shows what games are coming up for each consoles, regardless of the release date. My point was to show people that the PS3 indeed got more announcements than the Wii this year, contrary to popular belief.

Second half has to be different. It's illogical that the console with the biggest userbase is the one getting less announcements. Not really making any sense.

It isn't suprising at all when you look at software sales numbers.
