Persona 360 exclusive is more realistic. I mean Microsoft does negotiate with Japanese developers, and there were news about Atlus developing for 360 in Famitsu recently.

and alienate there fanbase by moving to a completely new one!!??....yea right

Didn't you just say developing on an HD console is too risky? The worst choice they could make is the 360 then.

Prediction:

TGS this year for PS3 will be amazing.

Grandia comes to PSN(PSone classic).

First Versus gameplay this year.

Aren't Personas announced in Famitsu (that's how P4 and Persona PSP were announced)..,why would a new one be announced at an American event.

Plus I don't see the point in a Persona PS3...a new one would do better on the PS2 were the fanbase mostly is. I could see them doing a new PS2 one or even possibly a Wii/PS2 one before a PS3 one. Not sure about Wii exclusive but that's possible too...def not at E3 though. Not like it's a graphic heavy series anyway.

Yes. (only the bolded part)

They announced an exclusive Shin Megami Tensei game....

in 2005.

I mean maybe that game could of been in production for 4 years...

seems... really unlikely though.

Pretty far fetched.

Well......Magna Carta 2 just came back to life, so anything could happen I guess.  But you're probably right.

Not gonna happen.

Why?(knew this topic would attract you)

Ah, you did this on purpose then ;D

First of all, Atlus are in financial trouble. I don't think they want to take the risk and develop for an HD console. I know the rumor says Sony is supposedly talking to Atlus, but it doesn't make sense for some reason. Also the Persona PSP is yet to come out here, so I'm guessing this Persona game at E3 is the PSP one (release date announced here or something), but a new JRPG announcement on E3? Nah. Oh and I've never heard of criousgamer before =/

They have to make the jump sometime, and PS2 games don't sell like they use too. Why not now? So what if you've never heard of them?

Alienate what fanbase?  The fanbase that still owns PS2s?

I really don't think the persona fanbase is particularly concentrated on the PS3.

Heck... the biggest persona fan i know, who owned all the PS1 games.  She hates the PS3.

Really Atlus is kinda scerewd exactly because most of these fans haven't made a jump.

They'll likely jump with the game.  (Unless the system costs too much....)

I think he means MS would help them out (ie big moneyhat) for a Persona 360. Doubt that'll happen though...

Wouldn't Sony do the same though? They've helped From Software, and i've been hearing things about them funding NIS's games too. :O

No but your intent was quite clear.  Afterall why would the 360 alienate the fans?  Persona is just as popular in the US as it is Japan.

What does she prove? It's simple.  Gamers follow games.  Not systems.

Only fanboys buy systems because of who makes them.  Therefore the only people you can alienate by putting your series on another platform is fanboys.
