This should be fun. We can all have a VGChartz tourney or something. Maybe just exchange friends codes. It'll be fun to play all of you in Brawl and Kart. I think Brawls sales just doubled. I wasn't planning on buying Brawl unless it was online. Now that has changed.

Well now that this is confirmed I suppose I won't be buying the game until January...mostly because I won't be able to find it....

Halo 3 or Super Smash Bros Brawl?

Uh, Halo 3 haha.

Brawl's online will be for when you've got a friend far away, or just feel like Smashing with some random people.

Halo 3 doesn't have bots, and it won't be too much fun without online...and of course Live is much better organized than Nintendo's online.

That doesn't mean it's the better game...it just has easier online, and it's pretty much built for online.

I played Resistance until I got to five star general...and as much as it pains me to say it, SSBM is more fun. SSBM+online+better graphics+new characters+new stages+new items+new moves? I am going to be pounding the hell out of people online with that game until 2013 at least.

Too many FPS/Halo junkies out there to power the Halo 3 online experience.

For the all the swearing and posturing and ...etc that goes on in Halo... I think I'll definitely prefer SSB:B.

The end result is that I'm thinking I'll enjoy SSBB more than Halo 3, but I'll bet on Halo 3 anyway. 

I gotta give Nintendo credit. They turned an option that honestly should of been expected and if not done something was seriously wrong and turned it into a huge annoucement.

This is just the first of many online features for Brawl, so let's hope there's even a slim chance that voice chat might be included.

Also, I think the lack of leaderboards only applies to "With Anyone" mode. Melee had extensive stat tracking and I'm sure we'll have the same for Brawl, as well as leaderboards/stat tracking amongst friends.
