I'm talking about games with variable difficulty settings.  If you call it "easy" or "casual", that's what it should be.  If I wanted the game to be hard, I'd play it on "hard".

A funny thing that a KZ clanmate (I think it was Ali) said was that KZ is quite possibly easier on Elite than it is on Hard. I was really worried about Elite difficulty, but it really does seem a lot easier, but maybe it's because I'm used to the playstyle mechanics.

More than anything, I hate cheap or bugged games that improve difficulty by completely destroying the game.
For example, Fifa improves difficulty by letting the AI slide tackle you, even from behind, without penalty. Or making them run twice as fast, unlimited turbo, or goals from 40 yards out.

In the case of galaxy some are really easy and others hard.Did you get all stars?

I agree. Having played video games for years, when I come across a game that even on easy starts kicking my ass, I am in total disbelief. If I am having diffriculty with it, I view that as game over for casuals. A lot of the time, I will play a game with no problem, and pass it off to a non gamer,touting the story, and they will still give up and say its to hard.

Personally, I hate dieing in games. I don't have time to be replaying chunks of levels in every game the way I used to. When I get a game, I want to be able to get tied into the charicter, and drive straight throgh the story. Dieing just makes me care less about the whole experiance. A perfect game to me, is a game that on easy I can walk right though with little to no deaths. If I like the game enough, God of War, Uncharted, Killzone 2, I will go back for a challenge.

I don't know. When I put a game on "easy", I think that it should be you know....easy. Otherwise, what's the point? Sometimes, I just want to play for enjoyment. Actually I only want to play for enjoyment. Maybe I'm not a hardcore gamer but I do love gaming and I don't get this huge rush for beating a hard part of a game like I did when I was a kid.

I get though a hard part and think I'm glad that's over. I don't need a game to continually kick my ass. I like a game to be challenging sometimes but playing the same boss or part of a game over and over again is something I'll pass on.

Try playind Devil May Cry 3 on hard,I swear ur gonna wonna kill urself at some point!and god of war on hard is also very annoying

Yeah, I'm about 1/4 -1/3 through the game with Luigi.

Cool good luck man.Since I beat that game with Luigi,I gained confidence and beaten tons of games on the hardest settings.

I use to get angry like that when trying to obtain my licenses on gran turismo, I use to see red, but i don't think you can change the settings on that
