So how are you guys liking the game?

I am going to pick Sacred 2 up at some point....Once I finish my massive backlog of games.

Just read the strategy guide, Can't wait for this game...

@mrstickball

The game is awesome if you like hack & slash, dungeon crawl, loot-whoring type of games. I enjoy the open world, drop in drop out co-op both local and on-line (though I wish more of you on mine VGChartz league would play this game!) You can easily switch from one mode to the next, play on line to boost your stat and go back to single player campaign seamlessly.

There's tons of loots, quests, area to explored. I have about 23 hours of playtime and I am only about 17% into the main quest and barely uncover the map.

Things you have to put up with is some minor bug but none are game stopping. The game is a little rough and sure could used couple more months of polish but it's not game breaking.

I advice reading up on PC version game mechanic on Wiki as the game really bad at explaining how things work.

mrstickball, pretty much what mysticD said. Reviewers have been too harsh, if you like this kind of game its a no brainer. I would rate it an 8.5. I would even be so bold as to say I like it almost as much as Diablo 2. I know that's blasphemy but while Diablo 2 may be a much tighter, overall better experience, Sacred 2 dwarfs it in its amazing length and open world gameplay.

As for the bugs, it's like being bitten by a mosquito while you are at Disney World. It maybe annoying but you are still at Disney World. None of the problems are anything other than slightly annoying and the game more than makes up for it.

mysticD, yeah I saw you on last night and it said "joinable" but I didn't know if that would be cool for me to just hop in your game when I hardly know you. I didn't want to be a party crasher.

How bad are the bugs/frame rates compared to Two Worlds?

no where near as bad in my opinion.  The only really bad frame rate I encountered was from using a certain ice spell.  Bug wise I haven't actually encountered any yet but I'm sure there are some in there.

edit: I just thought of one, occasionally I'll see a wierd glitch, the textures flash on the screen.  But it's barely noticable to the point of, did I just see that?

What I hate is the NPC AI.  When you get a quest to protect someone they either A. run off and fight everything like Rambo or B. just run from everything, but usually in the direction of more mobs, causing a huge chain of bad guys to acumulate around them.

I take it back, the framerate can get pretty craptastic. I tried playing online with 3 other people, one of them was a shadow warrior with about 6 summoned spirit fighters plus me and my demon, plus we were at a part where you are in the middle of a land war and there where about 100 other moving characters on the screen and the frame rate said "SCREW THIS!"

Side note, oddly enough I didn't get the achievement for playing with 3 other people :(

Yeah, framerate can sometimes slow but I have yet to experience any thing that are so bad that the game is unplayable. Titan Quest even on my current computer with decent cpu and gpu still hic-up on occasion and Dawn of War 2 is outright come to a crawl at times.

As for bug, there's one quest you can't finish because the dungeon you zone into just not there and that's the only quest bug so far that I run into (it's call Underground or something like that).  They are aware and going to patch it in with the next patch.   Sometimes the menu would glitch or you teleport to a place where you can't move but you can always go to the big Map and rezone anytimes.

I haven't have much problem with on-line play at all and I play on line all the times with my 2 kids (one is local co-op the other is over Live). Last night I group with people that are killing the big squid guy and there was not any slow down that I notice.

@JPL78, send me invite usually I am just mugging around doing the odd quests here and there. I recently change to Silver level because Bronze was getting really boring. My Seraphim just got her first tiger mount and she's mobile BFG turrent!!

I noticed a bug, I think. For a quest they wanted me to go into the old port and it was clearly locked. I could not find another way in. No one was offering a key. Finally I just "cheated" and teleported in as soon as I remembered I could do that.

Has anyone seen the Blind Guardian music video?? You do a bunch of quests to get their instruments back and then they perform a cutscene hair metal sacred song for you. Pretty cool

I had less framerate problems online today but I was only with one other person each time. I'm having trouble finding anyone who uses a microphone and most people just leave my game after about 10 minutes despite the fact that I'm playing with them and not hording loot. I'm having trouble getting 3 other people to join so I can get that achievement.

oh, and the temple guardian ROCKS! That is all.

mysticD, sounds good.

Actually that is not a bug. You can get to the old port, when you hit the gate just keep going to the right (of the screen) and then south. This will lead you to the old port area. The first quest you have to go to the right fork and the other quest (which is bug, where you have to go underground) you go to the left. The underground one is bug, once you zone in you just stuck at a black screen so you have to go to over world map and just teleport out.

It seems PS3 versions actually have less bug than the 360 according to what people are reporting on line. There is also some menu glitch on 360 where the RB button doesn't show you the details (in character menu) and you have to move it a bit also the right stick doesn't work to scroll in the Overview menu of your char.
