YES, God of War III will be a system seller!

Two of my buddies are specifically waiting for that one game to come out until they buy a Ps3.

I think it will sell even better than the previous GoW titles.

Yes, i actually expect higher sales then the PS2 games.

I bought my ps3 when i got to know GOW3 (not GeOW) was in line for the ps3

so yes i do expect it to go up...but there will be ppl like me who got it way ahead of time (to get the backward compatibility - software none the less)

This. For many reasons.

1. Ps2 was heavily PIRATED. It was so easy to find access to copied games. Ps3 is the opposite and the only console this gen that hasn't been successfully hacked.

2. Less competition. Ps2 had a huge library of games. Ps3 library is significantly smaller, which will give a lot more attention to GoW III on Ps3.

3. Kratos is quickly becoming a mascot for PlayStation. When GoW1 came out, nobody knew what to expect. When GoW2 came out, the Ps2 generation was pretty much already over so it didnt get as much hype as it should've. But when GoW3 comes out, everyone will have their eyes on it.

I'm expecting Lifetime sales of 4-5 million... possibly even more if it's bundled.

you know pirating helped PS2 sales alot, now everyone is buying the 360 cause its hackable, so im sure it wont sell as much as ps2 ones.

One things for sure, it'll move more then VC, KZ2 and LBP combined.

Also early adopters are the hardcore, they will eat up GOW.

Also all previos Gow were march releases, a Xmas release would be huge.
