Why am I getting so much heat, you 360 fanboys have been talking smack for 2 years about the ps3.

Wait wait, why are MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted etc. "AAA" exclusives and games like Mass Effect, Forza, Fable, Dead or Alive 4 not?

I consider Mass Effect AAA, if it's any consolation.  I'm looking forward to playing it.  I may buy it on the PC before I get a 360, however.

Oh, I forgot to add that I don't consider Heavenly Sword to be one of the PS3's AAA titles.  Fun, but short and with lots of flaws.

Keep this in mind when reading what I type...

I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.

DOA 4 is AAA....Don't care for Forza and Fable speaks for it self....

If you already have a good gaming PC then this is a given..But if you don't, not getting a 360 is stupid....this is the option 360 gives you...a cheaper piece of hardware that plays top PC games at great quality

Nah it was still going to sell good.

Lol I love how you twist things... Just because this thread fails doesn't mean everyone is a fanboy.

ALSO: Your post is full of irony.

My point is is that the games I listed sold and were rated just as high as the PS3 games listed in the OP. So then why are they not considered "AAA"?

And can people come up with better reasons than "I didn't like (blank game) so therefore it's not AAA."

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Not a chance, sorry to tell you but halo is just that good.

People were saying the same thing about halo on the origional xbox, but then xbox starting getting the same third party games as ps2 day and date except japanese games of course, and then halo 2 came out and outsold halo 1, the franchise is proven.

............and 360 got the most third party support this generation, plus halo 3 came out 2 years after xbox 360 launched, no way man, just no.

Halo 3 sells because it's that good no other reason.

 THis

Long Live SHIO!

Not sure why anyone would consider Heavenly Sword a AAA title, it's only a A on metacritic.

It's PS3 exclusive, though.

Oh...you wrote the article just before me...
