Actually I suspect that the market cannot exist on Nintendo games alone there, Nintendo doesn't offer something for everyone unlike what everyone here believes and perhaps its up to the third parties to really reignite things. |
I quite agree, especially about how Nintendo can't just go-it-alone. But the system hasn't seen any major releases, first or third-party, all year, which I think goes a long way towards explaining the current situation. That looks to change with Monster Hunter 3, of course, but the hardware bump of the demo wasn't all that impressive, so I think there's a possibility (albeit not a very strong one) that the majority of the Monster Hunter fanclub is either already on the Wii, or overwhelmingly favor the handhelds for their Monster Hunting.
