Forums - Nintendo - What are the odds of The Conduit Wii bundle?

You... don't pay attention to sales, do you?

You bundle games when you want to give more value to your customers, to increase sales. Nintendo doesn't want to increase sales anywhere except Japan, and Japan won't like a western-style FPS bundled anyway.

The Wii is selling too well to get a bundle with anything (except Wii Sports, of course). And when the Wii starts to fade, they'll release a new package that's either 200$ or comes with Wii Sports Resort or Wii Fit, and you'll be unable to find them on the shelves for months.

Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.

Let´s not forget that unlike Madworld, The Conduit is T rated.

I'm not forgetting that, you're not forgetting it.  But will stupid, uninformed parents care about that?  That's the question.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

 They won't bundle a game that doesn't appeal to the widest audience possible...but keep hoping

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

I don´t think parents are dumb enought to not know the different between a T rated game and a M rated game.Additionaly it was a really smart move from HV to make it T rated it appeals to a much broader audience.Personally I wasn´t getting the game if it was M rated, but that´s just my personal opinion.

bundling would give 3rd parties confidence in Nintendo's support for core games.
But Nintendo doesn't really care about that. They sell the majority of software for the wii anyways, and would rather sell even more, with less competition from outside sources.

 Nothing stopping them from bundling both Wii Sports and TC in the same box.

The bottom line will stop it. It costs money to bundle. Bundling is generally a tactic to help 3rd parties sell their software and make up for delivering a high budget console selling game.

Nintendo will never agree to this, because neither of those things make sense for nintendo.

If there is a bundle I do not think the sales of the Wii would go up by that much because The Conduit is a game for people with a Wii that need a good FPS not to people that already have another system and attracts them. Still, people with no current gen system might be interested.

                                             WII is the FUTURE GAMING!

@Everyone

I am not saying that the conduit is going to boost wii sales.I am saying the opposite that the wii would help the conduit to sell well.
