And that's just the problem, why not congratulate victories vs constantly acknowledging mishaps? Wouldn't you rather the market move forward?

Yo'd rather bash the PS3 for losing in marketshare vs being excited for the games it has and will have?

all i'm doing is trying to say things how they are, the PS3 has won the last few weeks in Japan, ok good for it, but let's not forget it's getting pounded everywhere else, so before the  i let the fanboys celebrate(which is stupid as it's) i'm gonna wait for a real victory, not an specific one

 

and i'm glad the PS3 is doing well, just like i'm glad the 360 is doing well and the same for the Wii, all consoles are doing quite well this gen, but celebrating that one console is beating another one is fucking stupid and i dont like seeing idiots salivate over it

i cant understand how that is bashing, and even then i only said it because it's fucking stupid for any of us to celebrate any console being ahead of another one, all i meant to do is say the way things are, i dont care which console is winning i dont even own a Wii, i'm just glad that it's doing well and so should other people, i doubt anyone here works for Sony, MS or Nintendo so we have no reason to support one of them over the other, and specially if we are gamers then we shouldnt mind which console sales how much more than the other as long as they keep helping the industry

  and if you dont like the way i talk well then fine by me, again i just say things the way they are, and fanboys are nothing more than stupid people

Ok, what I want to know is wtf is going on with monster hunter for the wii.

Is it released or what? This site has a january 09 release. soriku said last week that ps3 might get outsold because of MH, these numbers don't appear right. What's going on?!??1/

i have no problem to make my point without profanity, i just do it when apropiate, and last time i checked this is the internet, not a job interview

and again i'm NOT bashing on the PS3 i'm merely stating the facts, the PS3 is doing wonderfully considering the poor marketing and high price, we should all be happy for that, but that's not what they are celebrating here, they are celebrating that it has beaten another console, and i ask why? are you a shareholder for Sony, why should they care that it's outselling the Wii

we should be happy that unlike last gen all consoles are keeping up good numbers, even in an economical crisis, rather than worrie about which one sells more

and btw, i'm not having a good day, chemestry test tomorrow :(

Agreed.It doesn´t matter if the ps3 keeps outselling the Wii. The Wii still has a bigger much bigger user base and it is getting the "key" game DQX.

Not everyone likes the same games as me...I realize this. But the only quality games on the Wii that make a Wii purchase "worth it" are it's first party. What's Twilight Princess (a freaking GC port for crying out loud) doing that WindWaker didn't (since this was considered ther first Wii AAA title) that's making the Wii sell so much more than the GCN? What's Metroid Prime 3 doing that previous Metroids haven't, which helps boost the sales of the Wii?

These are the games that are always mentioned when someone says the Wii isn't "core".....but these are the same games that were essentially on the GCN and that system was in 3rd place.

You can say it has good 3rd party support...but the support for the HD twins dwarfs it. So what about my sig is wrong again?

This site doesn't have a Jan 2009 release for MHG. MHG for Wii released on the 23rd in Japan and sold 143k in Famitsu. In Famitsu the Wii and PS3 difference was 1k with PS3 beating Wii out.

OT: Good job, SONY. Also did some of you ever think that PS3 that demo didn't boost HW but the boost was actually because of the PS3 design itself and the FFVII fans??
