Well done PS3 !... although I won't make any difference... (Imo it is way too late...)

A old port game that have already been out for years?? what a difference a few games can do.

 

Last year? Ohh let's see Wii Fit(late2007) Mario Kart Wii, Super smash Bros Brawl

I find it ironic that a demo boosted hardware sales more than an actual game did.

 



Prediction:

TGS this year for PS3 will be amazing.

Grandia comes to PSN(PSone classic).

First Versus gameplay this year.

It is shocking how much lower Wii sales are this year.  Although, they did have SSBB and Mario Kart Wii last spring to push hardware sales.

As much as i dislike the PS3, i hope it continues to bury the Wii in Japan. The worse the wii does the better it is for the industry as a whole.

Neither does it mean that because the second place runner found a shortcut, he will catch up with the lead runner.

Of course not, but people do act like it is set in stone that the Wii will obliterate the PS3 once again in weekly sales for Japan.

Just like PS3 last year it has become a lot of "Just wait until..."

PS3 isn't taking a shortcut either. A game company with as many studios as Sony is supposed to do just that, which is releasing titles. The PS3 is gaining ground, nobody ever said it would catch the lead runner or pass him.

A shortcut would be Sony slashing price in order to stimulate sales because they have a drought in terms of new releases.

You gotta love how now all of a sudden releasing 4-5 major titles is considered "Finding a shortcut".

That is called "doing what you're supposed to do".
