Well, I guess it might dip below 100k for some weeks, but imo it largely depends on last quarters shippment figures we get in ~2 weeks.

I believe so. All the home consoles are slowing down by a good amount right now, so I wonder what numbers we will see in a couple of weeks.
If this week is any indication I would think so. It looks like everything but the DS is strugling right now. Still, it is no reason for Sony to go into panic mode. A price cut at E3 could be in the making, but I still think they should hold out tell September. Also it has to be $100, $50 is not going to change anything. At most they would be looking at 10k more per week if they only go 50 bucks.

Going under 100K? Most probably going to happen and last for a while.
But hastened price drop? In their financial position, they won't accept bigger losses multiplied more hardware sales.
Why should they? A few months of poor hardware sales won't change much for the software income, and won't change marketshare numbers in any relevant manner.
At this point, even if the 360 sold 50k+ units more every week until november, that would amount to 24x50k=1.2M gap increase. That's, what? 0.5% of marketshare shift?
Probably yes but if ps3 will be at 90k I expect x360 will drop to 100-110k and wii to below 200k.

You're not looking at the sales properly. The PS3 has most fat to lose from Japan, its going to decrease to 10 - 15k there, the 360 can't drop anymore there.
The only console to have "not normal sales" is the PS3 in Japan due to the FF bundled just out. If that wasn't out you can bet the PS3 would be around 100k

The PS3 was selling good for 9 weeks now, not only for FF bundle

I'm talking about the last 2 weeks not the last 9 weeks.
