Ok this is going to sound completely nuts.   

But who thinks that the crazy announcements at E3 are all based around KZ3 and R3 being announced at E3.  Both if not one out by the holiday season?  Just saying you can call me crazy and say that is a bunch of weak sauce.  But why not?

I'd say that we won't seen Resistance 3 until next year, given Insomniac's previous releases. As for Killzone 3, that's a few years away at least. Killzone 2 came out in Feb, and I doubt they'd release another one within a year. I don't even expect denouncements about either game, to be honest.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for an announcement of R3. At times I find myself wanting to play R2 way more then KZ2.

R3 is a possibility.. I doubt kz3, too early.

You aren't alone. KZ2 is fantastic, but the co-op in R2 is just amazing! I play it too much. =D

That said, don't hope too much. Insomniac has been alternating between Resistance and Ratchet games since the PS3's release. With ACIT pretty much confirmed for this year, don't expect another Resistance until next fall.

Way too early. Insomniac hasn't even released Ratchet, they won't start hyping Resistance. Killzone 2 just came out.

I'd give a 0% chance to both ideas. Sauce is weak.

Neither. Killzone 2 will be ten months old by the end of the year. Considering how long KZ2 took to make...

As for Resistance 2, they seem to be doing well with alternating between Resistance and Ratchet, and I doubt they would release two retail games in one year.

I would expect Holiday 2010 for Resistance 2 and March 2011 for Killzone 2.
