^I won't deny I'm happy the PS3 (or a HD console for that matter) is doing good in Japan. However, those are not the numbers for anything "on fire". The whole chart points to a sick market if anything.

I was refering to PS3 outselling the Wii again when i said " on fire." I really doubted it would pull it off again. So no ! im not refering to the sales, but i can see where you misunderstood me.

PS3 is really gaining ground in japan... after seeing this, I could well imagine that it'll outsell the Wii again next week, even though both will probably drop to under 20k...

PS3 is epicly awesome in Japan!

i just released this thread is in the sony section i guess its big news that the ps3 is still the #1 console in JP and was able to hold it even with the wiis MHG release

Keepin the fanboy smile aglow!

All the home console sales suck.

Wow, PSP and PS3 sales neck and neck WW.

all home consoles dropped

Wii is 23k away from beating both Ps3&Xbox360 this week, which is normal

Japan can change nothing on a global scale as it seems, so stop taking Japan sales so seriously

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Why? I'd say that PS3 has a baseline of about 15-20k now, and 360 about 5-6k.

One year ago they were more like 8-10k and 3k. Not a bad YoY in this economic climate.
