Having played both on my HD TV, I can surely tell you that they look about the same. They're both top notch graphically, by far the best looking console games this gen after Killzone 2.

Looking at acouple of those pictures, i thought Uncharted had much nicer colours, but the vegetation was terrible.

The colour scheme in Gears isnt nearly as appealing, but the overall detail seemed to be greater.

Look at the grass and the leaves. They look terrible. Far Cry 2 had much more impressive foliage.

GOW2 does not even have the best console graphics to date... MGS4 held that crown (VGA's are proof of that) til Febuary of this year when Killzone 2 took the torch.

 Hmm i can see what your saying about Uncharted Foilage, MAinly with the blades of grass near Drakes feet.

Textures eh...IN that Gears Photo it looks Jaggedy, dunno if its just me.

We know, were just comparing the Best game Graphically on the 360 to a Regular AAA on the PS3.

I would've thought a better comparison would have been between versions of a multiplatform game.. like, the Orange Box. Oh, wait... It can't even run on a PS3 without locking up. Sorry, my bad.

uncharted 2 has a totally different style it almost looks slightly cartoon.

to compare a game thats allot older, and on a serposedly inferior machine is admitting that sony isnt raising the bar enough!!

i think both games look as good as each other.

i will predict that gears of war will out sell it at LEAST by double
