Well it's not that bad but most of the football gamers like the idea of having it as real as possible. Well it's a perception they think matters when it really don't. But it's probably a good move because I doubt many of those exist on the Wii anyways considering it's never built up a huge steady base for it like what was done on the Xbox and Playstation brand. So it's a good idea to hopefully expand the base pass that of people that keep their eyes glued to online football statistics and fantasy numbers.

I don't mind the style at all. It reminds me of an evolution of the NFL Blitz look. What I don't get I suppose is why this is a good fit for Madden, since it's more sim than it is arcade game. Regardless of the look though, if they can make a sliding scale of features to fine tune the game for both sim and arcade fans, then I will absolutely buy this on top of my yearly 360 pick up.

This.  These screens scream, "We're turning this into an arcade game!"  I definitely don't want that.

I actually think it's OK but i can see that it's slightly at odds with the image of Madden as a football sim. Anyway i have no personal interest in Madden so it doesn't really bother me.
