I'm no big JRPG buff, really. I've played several, but it's very, very far from being my favorite genre. Though, sometimes a JRPG just really gets to me and I get completely enveloped in it and downright love it. This is a thread for such JRPGs. My list probably looks terrible to JRPG fanatics, but here it is - My favorite 5 JRPGs:

1. Final Fantasy X
2. Final Fantasy VIII
3. Tales of Symphonia
4. Dragon Quest VIII (Midway through this now, I might change my opinion by the end, though I doubt it)
5. Lost Odyssey

I love all of these games. It's a tough call, though, really liked Baten Kaitos too, but ... This'll have to me Top 5. So what's yours?

1. Lunar Eternal Blue (Mega CD)
2. Lunar Silver Star Story Complete (PS1)
3. Phantasy Star IV (Sega Mega Drive)
4. Final Fantasy IV (SNES, GBA remake in my case)
5. Earthbound (SNES)/Legend of Dragoon (PS1)
