I have only played the game for a few minutes when I was at the arcades, but I always wanted to play a little longer...
Now I got to either buy a wireless adapter for my 360 (can't connect cables to the internet) or buy a PS3 to get this game?

This almost confirms MvsC2 for Wii. When Capcom says there's no version for such platform, sometime later they officially announce it.
RE4, Lost Planet and Megaman 9 are some examples.

MegaMan 9 was a Wii exclusive that got ported to the HD's later, Lost Planet will never get released on the Wii and RE4 was known to be in development before the Wii launched.

Kind of seems like it's just a well put together excuse, Capcom probably didn't try very hard to get it on Wii.

They'd have to alter a lot of the game, rather than port. It could happen, thought.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
