What's frightening is the fact that Sony are promising a lot of 'big franchise' PSP announcements at E3 as well!

I think almost every week a new PSP game has been announced for the last few months...this is including the games like Army of Two, Dante's Inferno and a few others as well.

Yeah, that' what makes their E3 announcements even more interesting. SCEE president was at the Capcom event (Captivate 09), and he said there are some big PSP (game related) announcements coming...

I mean seriously....SoCom and Jak & Daxter have both officially been announced for the PS3 since the day LBP and Motorstorm were announced for it...I can guarantee Gran Turismo is one of the games TBA. Also, I'm thinking Sly Cooper might be as well but I'd hope that would be for the PS3 instead...I also have a feeling Valkyria Chronicles might make its way to the PSP (since the PSP has such a strong RPG audience).

I have feeling at least one of those will be from Capcom, since SCEE president mentioned it during the unveiling of new Monster Hunter PSP bundle.

Since they said Devil May Cry portable is dead...I'm expecting probably Bayonetta to go to the PSP instead (since that's the new IP they are trying to push for). Also, there's a slight possibility of Ninja Gaiden 2 hitting the PSP as well..

I'm not so sure DMC is dead, someone asked Sven, and his answer was something like ' Well, I guess Famitsu have the scoop.."  Very suspicious.

Considering that you were the one who posted what I initially read, I'll take your word for it.

Famitsu did remove it, but Sven's reaction was very strange, and he's Capcom's VP after all...

I wouldn't mind Bayonetta either, but isn't it SEGA's game?

Hmmm, 2 versions I can master now. And Tekken 6 on the fly :D

OMG... I never thaught that Sony will turn the PSPs sittuation around like this :o Now if we get GTP and a couple of bigger games at E3 and maybe a major PSP redesign... then this will be easily the year of the PSP :o

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

IGN has the exclusive for now it seems.

Can anyone find me a non-watermarked Tekken 6 PSP Image. all I'm getting are DR..

Nope - however, I have official PR from Namco:

It’s the year of the Iron Fist as NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced plans to deliver the perfect fighting trifecta with the addition of TEKKEN 6 for the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system. Already a highly anticipated title for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system, the PSP system version will be the quintessential companion for players who want to hone their fighting skills on-the-go. Unbridled vengeance will be served worldwide this Fall when each version of the game delivers pulse-pounding, edge-of-your-seat action with bone-jarring punches and gut-wrenching grapples.

Spanning over a 14 year legacy, Tekken is among the most popular and well-known gaming brands in the world with the entire franchise selling more than 33 million units to date. A new King of the Iron Fist Tournament is about to begin, complete with intense gameplay modes as well as new features and environments.

A must-have for Tekken aficionados, TEKKEN 6 sees the return of many familiar faces as well as new characters to create the largest line-up the series has ever seen. With a growing roster of fighters, each equipped with their own deadly techniques, martial art moves, and attack combinations, TEKKEN 6 will be the best “King of Iron Fist Tournament” yet. Adding to the already rich gaming experience, a deeper character customization feature will only enhance the incredible fighting intensity as players go mano-y-mano.

Optimized for the PSP system, TEKKEN 6 will not only contain all the explosive action of its home console brethren but also feature additional stages, content, items, and an ad-hoc multiplayer mode. Fighting amongst friends is encouraged as players can battle wirelessly against each other using original or fan favorite characters. Rounding out its list of impressive features is the return of the “Ghost” Infrastructure mode, which allows players to upload their “ghost” character data and download others’ from the Internet onto their PSP system. When players have reached the height of their TEKKEN fighting skills, they will be able to see how they stack up against others through the game’s network support.

oops. I keep doing that. x.o lol.

It's a common mistake, Bayonetta is such blatant DMC clone...
