I was disappointed at Diamond/Pearl because there were only 4 new Fire Pokemon in the entire game. That's discrimination XO!!!

I am an abstract sort of creature, who dislikes any sort of restraint. If you try to pigeonhole me, I'll break the box, and come back for more. I don't have any particular ambitions, I just drift, but I am adept at keeping life going along.

yeah.. i still like the red version.. i even love the remake fire red

the new ones are just okay w/ better graphics

  at least the pokémon battle system is now balanced

 

damn, all i cared about was TWO extra moves.. TWO!!

 

also, seeing the artstyle in Animal Crossing: City Folk

 

i think it’s time for Nintendo to bring the series to Wii,

or,,

  at least, create an RPG similar to the game.. may it be a spiritual successor, a sequel, prequel, spinoff.. something!

 

 

oh, also ~

I've never played it, but to show you "coolness" had nothing to do with it, I've played/owned 2 Animal Crossing games. Always wanted to try Pokemon, but the DS/PSP were the first portable consoles that I felt were worth owning. I had the original GBA, but the screen sucked so hard I sold it within a month.

On Topic... I have never owned a Pokemon game.... my experience with the franchise is limited to about 10 minutes I spent with Pokemon Silver on one of my friends GameBoys (this was only about 5 months ago)

I don't see the appeal.

I guess you love the rubber band Ai and casual friendly gameplay. Double Dash was 100xs better than the Wii version.

I swear I will send you my copy of Pokemon LeafGreen, play through it (its a remake of the original with GBA graphics and more pokemon etc.) and I bet you will love it :)

 



Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

 Agreed! Regarding the second part. I think they should move all the pokemon/ items to different areas though so that R/B/Y veterans don't just breeze through it. It would be awesome!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

If they make it like gold or silver and vist all regions I might play pokemon again.

Doesn't rubber band AI mean they catch up to you too easily? because that happens a lot in Double Dash too.... and considerably more so in Mario Kart 64.

Casual friendly gameplay? It's Mario Kart FFS.... it is a casual friendly game by nature.

MKWii >>> Double Dash >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MK64.

Double Dash is still a great game though, I loved the dual character thing and would happily see that re-instated into MKWii, but as MKWii does almost everything else better I really don't mind losing that feature.

MK64 was just an average game really, if I ever had the urge to play a weapons based racing game I usually left Mario Kart in it's box and put Snowboard Kids in instead, which is a better game.
