Forums - Gaming - if E3 is a dissapointment for your "console of choice" would you jump ship?

if E3 for your console of choice doesnt live upto what you wanted, ie not the games you expected or lack of them. would you jump ship to another console for your gaming needs, if other consoles show more promising titles?

i ask because if all year you put all your hopes into a good E3 showing and it doesnt deliver, id personally feel a bit pissed off as its the main game reveal expo.

i cannot mention any consoles by name as its not fair to do so, but i hope all 3 consoles and thier fans get the games they want to hear about including many new ip`s and features.

I have all 3.

But anyone who does "jump ship" simply because of a bad E3... sucks.

Nope, bought the other console after the last E3, already sold it.

of course not. I need more than a media show to chose the console of my prference.

well think of it this way, lets say u have console A only................and E3 shows console B and C has far far more better games coming out for it, and you personally want to play the best games possible. would you jump ship or keep console A even though you know youre not gonna be playing the best games.

No.

Anything that gets announced at E3 will be a bonus for me.

I already get Uncharted 2 this year. I'm set.

MS & Sony won't fail. Nintendo might, but I'd like to think they learn from past mistakes.

Let's put it this way. I am a wii owner and I was dissapointed by the Nintendo's E3 conference. But I know that on those conferences they don't show all their cards and they make them thinking on the media that is presenting. I kept my wii and I don't regret it.

No so no I doubt I'll quit my console. I would LOVE top buy another one but not ditch the other.
