Alpha Flight flopped because it was about Canadian Superheroes.

Yeah, you are right. People like AMERICAN heroes like Wolverine.

They would never make a movie about a Canadian Hero and release it this summer. No sir.

(This is Sarcasm, just like yours was Thanos or have you forgotten the omnipotence you had when you had the Guantlet? )

I believe Gracy Grace in Animal Crossing is a man in the Japanese versions of the game. I read something a while back on here that they changed him to a girl in the other versions. I guess Japan is just more accepting. Outside of games, let's not forget that homosexuality is expressed in anime basically everywhere. Even in more child oriented cartoons like Sailor Moon, Sailor Uranus and Neptune are lovers and believe there are a few gay male characters as well. In the English dubbed versions I think they were displayed as sisters.

Actually in the movie Wolverine is American.  Or at least it seems that way.  The US government keeps telling him he has to do stuff "For the good of your country"... and all the different canadian agencies are instead US ones.

I bet most people don't even know Wolverine is canadian.  He worked out of NY city a bunch of Americans.

Wolvie has worked with American Agencies a lot. So until I see them say that he is not Canadian...

WAIT- this has nothing to do with the thread please write me if you want to continue.

Wolverine is not to my knowledge gay.

Or his knowledge better call Charlie.

The Whole Weapon X thing was a Canadian thing...it was the response to America's Soldier Serum and Russia exploits with Omega red...In the Marvel Universe Canada had balls at some point....And Wolvie worked with S.H.L.I.E.D. for the WW2 stufff....But fore some reason the movies change that...

Well the comic books change it too... kinda.  Weapon X is a canadian thing... but is then changed to be a branch of the "Weapon Plus" program... which is run by the US government.

Probably only because they didn't think people would buy into an "ominious canadian program" anymore.

I also blame Marvel Bankruptcy problems....People were just doing what they wanted for like a good two years...Suposedly X-Men is getting a big FIX...Or some thing this summer....

canada used to have some nice weapons programs until the US "asked" them not to anymore.
