)Actually in the movie Wolverine is American. Or at least it seems that way. The US government keeps telling him he has to do stuff "For the good of your country"... and all the different canadian agencies are instead US ones.
I bet most people don't even know Wolverine is canadian. He worked out of NY city a bunch of Americans.
