Forums - Nintendo - Wii Spore planned

Spore on Wii was always on the cards.
Lets hope Spore on NDS does not end up as some Pokemon clone.

Heeeeyyyy!!!! <Snap>

the kind of game anybody with a PC should get it for their PC, clearly. just imagine all the mods and customization you can do on your PC, which multiplies the amount of fun... if it's fun to begin with, and i'm skeptical.

the Wii is an epidemic.

They just need to release this damn game. I have been hearing about it for a long ass time.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Its from Ea people, eventually it will be on everything.

Hmmm I'm going to check it out but I'm not sure I'm going to get it. Depends if I like the console version. If not well I'll have to pass it because my computer can't handle it... =/

The game is more one part evolution, one part Real time strategy game from what i can tell.

I wonder how this will work though... I mean the big thing about Spore is it's online connectivity and how it randomly downloads monster packets to fill your world. How does that work with friend codes?

What happens when some parent walks in (on any console) and finds their 13 kids world filled with a penis monster created by... well some other 13 year old.

Egads, 1 Wii for 13 kids?  That's a parent who can teach sharing right there...

On a serious note, I've been hearing hype for this game forever it feels like.  It's like a seasonal thing; fall comes, leaves change colors, Spore gets hyped...etc.

I don't know about some, but I'm almost past the point of truly caring about this title.  I'm more looking forward to the release since I'll finally stop hearing about it.

Despite that, here's to hoping the game turns out well.

I was super excited for this game last year... since i love the idea, last game i played like it was EVO for the SNES which was actually a pretty underated game.

Then it took forever to come out... apparently it's been in the words for years.. and eh, i'll be excited again when it's out... i hope you can customize your worlds and pick specific aliens to be in your world too... so i can get all sorts of exact replications that i am to lazy to make but that other people seem to live for.

Maybe make an army of Smurfs and take on some Klingons like i was in lilupution.
