Just call the new bad boy the SUPER WII. Have capabilities a little more powerful than the PS3 & 360, utilizing lower production costs and the Super Wii should get most of the third party game makers cranking out Wii versions of their A games or Wii exclusives.
It's time for Moon Patrol Wii, or how about a new Ghost & Goblins or side scrolling Castlevania for the Wii.
it has the potential but ever since the N64 Nintendo has treated 3rd party comapnies like their not important and its coming back to bite them. Hopefully nintendo will turn tehir attitudes around and we can get the good 3rd party games on all 3 consoles. Also having similiar hardware to the other two consoles might help them too

Maybe its because devs don't want to waste their time on great games like MadWorld and Zack and Wiki when Party games are cheaper to make and sell better on the Wii.

A lot of third parties sided with Sony during the PSX, N64 era because of the CD format. Yes, Nintendo isn't innocent in the fact that at some point they started ignoring third parties. I don't know if it was that soon though....I think it was during the time of the Gamecube. By the time they started even accepting enough third party titles it was over.

I get the impression most third parties don't like Nintendo. They largely ignored them the last two gens and they seem to be doing their damnedest to stop them winning this gen. So, even with all consoles being equally powerful next gen, i wouldn't expect too much of third parties.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!
