I can't stop looking at that girl's waist line...

All you have to do is look at the lines in the background to know ridiculous resolutions weren't used to downsize from. Anyway, let's just say it's highly unlikely that these are bullshots or they are terrible bullshots.

Every screenshot that is not a direct screen cap but went through some special rendering process or manipulation to make the game look better than it really is when you play it is a bullshot. That includes resizing from higher res to simulate better AA, having dramatic camera angles, using different models or higher resolution textures than what you use into the actual game and even using "camera mode" shots instead of actual gameplay shots (yes, I own Motorstorm:PR).
Once again: I am sure it will look great, maybe the best looking game on consoles thus far. I trust Naughty Dog, and everything I've seen in-engine of Uncharted 2 looks wonderful.
I rate Uncharted, even today, only under KZ2 in terms of graphical technical achievement and higher than MGS4 or Gears of War. Plus I like its style.
But you could not have drawn the same conclusion by comparing the bullshots we were given for both Uncharted and -say- Gears: we had to wait for the actual games, see the in-game animations, the in-game textures and their loading, the in-game dynamic lightning.
I'll do the same with this one, and I warned other readers to take all screenshots with a grain of salt, indipendently from what team they cheer for.
Looks great I guess. Still hoping I get to see Jak 4 sometime this Gen....
4 ≈ One
Am I the only one who think these PS3 exclusives are working together in harmony instead of against each other?

+1
MGS4, RE5 or Gears all look good, excellent if you want, but they look a very polished version of the same, or last gen on steroids, Uncharted and KZ2 are one or two steps ahead. These two, along with GT5P are the only games that have impressed me graphically this gen.
when i saw the tittle i was getting ready to shoot you but after seen the pics i agree

Hey Listen!
@stardauk............kz2 does have some low res textures but its understandable given the sheer nature of the game, ie when u zoom in to corners and edges u can see lowe res textures here and there.........on the other hand ive now got gears2 and i can tell u the textures on gears 2 are 100 percent deffo not as good as kz2.........if i have time il take snapshots from my telly to show you.
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
Beautiful game, but at this point, it comes down to art style for me. Just like pretty much any movie has reached a point where they all have amazing special effects, games have reached a point where amazing graphics are now routine. I like what I see, but at this point graphics aren't that big of a deal.

No need to take snapeshot, I own both games and...well, to me this is the opposite...
It seems I'am the only one to challenge the quality of KZ2. I found some features way superior while others totally not impressive (animation, AI, textures...). IMO, it brings interesting new graphical abilities/tracks but I find it less polished than a MGS4...
... anyway...
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
cant wait for uncharted 2 and the graphics are looking amazing
