As much as I liked LBP, it's only a rent for me (for now anyways), and SMG raped it imo. Plus sales/reviews support this ;). But since you are a sony fanboy, I know you'll just ignore all this and use your biased opinion.

In his defense all those Mario games listed are really good games, though I wouldn't call Super Paper Mario the best RPG this gen. It was barely an RPG anyways and more of a platformer.

You could probably get away with naming Mario Strickers Charged just because it isn't an EA Sports game (and it was a fun game)...

As a platformer LBP is quite pityful and Bee and Boo Mario are just as adorable as the sackboys.

By you saying "WILL". Ill go from the future, and whats been revealed so far.

FPShooter - PS3 (for me KZ > Halo and MAG is just on the horizon)
Platformer - Wii ( although LBP is right on SMGs back)
Racing - PS3 (GT5 will own all racing games)
RPG - DS (massive RPG library what keeps getting extended)
Action Adventure - PS3 (MGS4 = Game of Gen, also Uncharted1+2 , God Of War 3)
Fighter - PS3/360 (Wii has Brawl + Punchout. PS360 = Tekken/SF4/Fight Night4/ UFC2009)
