my copy has been preordered and paid in full for a couple months now.  while some will be "waiting to see", I'll be blasting some alien a$$ and polishing up on my online kills.  i'll be waiting for you.

I'm not...the game looks reeeaally average

I will be buying it within the first few days.

Several people seem to think it is "average" or "generic". Compared to what? The Wii has so few games of this type. I would suggest that there is nothing like this on Wii right now.

First week/month sales are very hard to predict, but I think they will be okay, but not spectacular. It ia a brand new game with no history or well known character. No brand recognition. Metroid Prime 3 and Resident Evil 4 both have brand name recognition and have sold lifetime 1.5 million or so. I would expect this game to do around 0.75 - 1.0 million lifetime, higher if the reviews are good, lower if they are bad.

In any case, it the game is well received, the Conduit 2 could be a real success.

Already have it preordered. I don't care about reviews; as long as it isn't as bad as Battalion Wars 2 I'll be happy. :P
