Forums - Sony Discussion - Who here thinks ps3 is Sonys' last videogame console?

I think they'll try once more, but if the PS4 fails it's over for them.

Who here thinks Jeronimo66 is nothing but an annoying Xbot???

People have no idea what a bad time for a console is. People look at sales this gen and if something is behind, apparently it's either losing money or there "won't" be another console next gen by them. By that idea, nintendo should of left after 64, microsoft at xbox, etc etc etc.

People fail to realize, PS3 sold as many units as xbox did, and almost as many as GC did, in 1/3rd the time. Without their major price drop yet. You know the power of a brand like that? People want the PS3, PS2 owners want it, they want to adopt, but won't due to price.

im really tired of these threads. did MS and Nintendo leave after GC and Xbox failed? and they both lost by like over 120 million. ps3 is only losing to its main competitor by 8 million. why would they leave? and the price is 399 with strong demand.

Are you guys forgetting how much sony is investing in new developer talent and infrastructure? You think they will just throw that all away?
That's just stupid.

I dunno they've lost a ton of money. Hopefully they do make a PS4 and make lots of money off of it.

no because sony are already planning 3D gaming in the next generation

Sony is like Michael Jackson. They made the ps2 (thriller) and we just have to keep on giving them another chance.

No, no-one here thinks that.

There is next to no chance Sony will not release another console after PS3.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
