@ axumblade....I'm a hunter, but I'm unsure what level I am...How can you tell?

Oh and I bought most of the plate armor from the dealer in 1-1, but if I wear it I'm too weighted down. So, if I level up, then does my carry limit go up as well. Right now I'm at 94 with the hunter and with all that plate armor, I had a weight of 40. I took it off and got back to 30 and I'm agile again.

Oh and thanks for the advice ameratsu. All is appreciated. This game is brutal.

If you read this, slap yourself.

Yes, you can carry more and still be agile for with endurance and dexterity.

You can tell what level you are at the bottom left corner of the status screen.

So I spent all my hardstone on my original Long Sword, getting it up to +4, not realizing that once I passed up +3 all the other possible upgrades would go away (Dragon, Quality, etc.).

So now I've bought a new Long Sword which I plan to upgrade to +3, but splinters of hardstone are suddenly becoming quite hard to find (though I get large pieces fairly often, and even some chunks and pure hardstone). And now that I've beaten 2-1, the stone dealer has disappeared, and I can't find him in 2-2 either.

So I don't know what to do. I'm also finding the witches or w/e in 3-1 a total pain to fight. I've started working on upping my faith to counter.

My main goal now is to get my Long Sword up to +3, then decide whether to upgrade it to a Quality Long Sword or a Dragon Sword (though I need to find another splinter of Dragonstone. I have two splinters and two large pieces. The large pieces are totally useless as far as I can tell).

What's the benefit of a Quality Long Sword vs a normal one? I know the Dragon Sword adds fire damage.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I asked the same question earlier. Check on page 4.

I have some moneys for a game...

Wondering if I should buy this or wait for inFamous/Motion Plus.

I honestly don't think you have the balls for this game.  :P

Is it unfairly tough like Shinobi or tough because you suck like Ninja Gaiden?

It's not cheap.  It makes you learn.

And it's often epic in its toughness.  I get quite a few "oh shit" moments when I first encounter a new boss, or when I stumble upon things that I don't even have to fight, like the dragons in 1-1 and 1-2.

And it seems my reverse psycology didn't work.  I was hoping my comment would've spurred you to buy the game immediately.  :P

Is the story any good? What about graphics, music etc? How would you rank it compared to other PS3 games?

The story is interesting. Not the best by any means, but something you haven't seen before.

The distant environments looks photo realistic, but the textures are pretty rough.

Music alright, but the voice acting is downright amazing. I still get chills listening to the Maiden of Black.

The appeal is in the tough, but addicting gameplay with awesome co-op. I really reccomend it to anyone looking for a fun RPG. Just be prepared to learn how to play.

It's like Ninja Gaiden in hardness, you can beat, you just have to learn how to fight the many different types of enemies and which character class fits your play style.
