Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 360 Avatars clothing options . . .

When they first announced the avatars, I hated the idea, I have a Wii and like the Mii system.  But they've grown on me, I don't totally hate them anymore.  But I do hate their clothes.  It's a limited selection, further limited by the fact that you can't even change the colour of things.  They release shirts of countries, but not all countries, just some random ones, at least they got my Italy, but I'm in Canada, and not even a Canada one?  There's like 3 pairs of shoes, and they're all pretty lame.

The worst tho is their genre specific stuff.  Showcasing how poor of a job theyre doing is the 'rave' and 'hip hop' clothes.  Did you know a poor fitting rainbow coloured hat makes you a raver?  also a hoody with gummi bears on it.  Hip hop my friends is all about jeans with a pattern on em, john cena shorts, and green beenie type hats.  All the hats fit wrong and are horrible.  I even hear the girl clothes are awful from any girl i talk to online.

No one likes the clothes.  No one.  Good god MS get real, or get the fuck out.

(heated?  a bit, but its some lame clothes man)

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

For me the Mi... Avatars are rubbish.

I got bored and made Micheal Jackson.

I want some designer stuff like Bench T Shirts and stuff, just more trendy clothing!

But it bugs me when everyone uses it (even the nerds IRL who woudln't wear it in real life)

The are in the process of getting clothes and items as achievements and getting more clothes in general as well as implementing the avatars in games that are not just for casual players, ie UNO. Source: My MGS consumer survey for NXE as of Friday.

I heard a while back they were going to be releasing something for creating custom avatar stuff.

Mine looks like one of the Bee Gees.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

Yeah.  This option was in the MGS poll as well for things that the customer wants in the NXE.

Wearable Achievements...

This would be a really cool way to reward gamers for earning thei achievements with game related gear...can you imagine something like Wearable Power Armor from Fallout 3...how cool would THAT be!

My only problem with my avatar is the strange positions he stands in and his ......strange....... body movements.

The poor guy is so delusional he thinks he's a butterfly. He always "flaps" his arms in a really elegant and slow motion, and he's really obsessed with looking and checking out his hands fingers.
