you can tell the future awsome! really though i know you will point at trends in DS/GB games that give them massive sales over the long haul, but the first months sales were well below expectations, even expectations adjusted to platform.    Im not saying it will be a bomb, but its too early to call it a million seller either. 

 

outside of that sales are also a chance to lie to people and try and rob people who dont pay attention see my post earlier in this thread,  

 

sales can also be to clear out crap or over supply, people buy crap that is on sale because they think they are getting a deal which goes to the robbing people point.

Its 4th week sales are better than its 2nd week sales. That's incredible and rare. There's no reason whatsoever to call this game a bomb. All signs point to a million + seller at this point. It's also got a much lower budget than the PSP GTA games (note, I'm not saying it's worse. It's actually much better), and won't need to sell as many units to make money.

 

Popular? This is where the excuse died, they abviously shipped too many copies and needs to get rid of them. Yes, the game will evantually sale 1 million+, but for a gta game, that's a total failure.

i wouldnt say it completely failed, but im sure that take 2 isnt happy nor nintendo. no matter what lies they tell the public about being perfectly happy with sales. but hey, they experimented. now they know that nintendo platforms are not the place for core gamers.

FYI, I own a DS and a Wii as well as a PS3. I'm not bashing the Nintendo systems. There are a lot of hypocrites on this thread because you know damn well that if this were ANY high profile PS3 game that had its price slashed so quickly you guys would be all over it. I love how all of these supposed huge Nintendo fans have crawled out of the woodwork the last couple of years since the DS and the Wii have been popular. Where were you during the Gamecube and N64 years? I was there. I bought and enjoyed both. The bandwagon jumpers on this site should take a long walk off a short pier.

I've checked the recent Europe Charts, and GTA:CW seems to be doing really well, and is selling quite consistently. It has maintained its places in the charts since it came out.

My point is that there are an awful lot of people who are now willing to defend everything Nintendo does to the death, but didn't put their money where their mouth was during the hard times.  By owning a N64, you are not being hypocritical.
