Okay, yes I thought of that, paying fifty dollars more is worth playing the system extra time instead of waiting for a price cut. My issue comes right now with lack of the bundle I want. I don't want the 160 gig so the Drake bundle is out of the question, I don't want Metal Gear Solid 4 so that bundle is out of the question. I just want the Resistance and Motostorm bundle, PERFECT, cept I can't find it anywhere except for boosted prices online which defeats the whole point of the bundle.
But that's 2 games I could have for free, we'll estimate 60 dollars if they are both retail 30 dollars. Plus tax another 5 or 6 dollars. If I had to buy those and the system and pay tax on the whole thing I'm looking at upwards of 510 dollars.... And I'm just lucky I already have an HDMI cord to use. If I pick up a Blu Ray movie (one lousy movie) add another 30 dollars.
I know you people think it is silly but 50 extra dollars, or 2 cheaper games free, goes a long way in deciding on the purchase. Especially when all of this other stuff adds up so fast. I just want a good deal and I think Sony should give me one if they want to help close that 8 million Xbox lead. I mean, seriously the temptation of being able to buy almost 10 new 360 games for the same price speaks volumes about why it would be hard to convice most 360 owners to go for it. I'm interested in the system, but Sony is going to have to coerce me, not just stand there going take it or leave it but we don't care.
