I'll go with Rugby.

LOL at the list of dead footballlers. I think that many died from American football in it's first few formative years alone.

Joe Theisman comes to mind for pro-caliber American football injuries and deaths...His alone changed the way football is played. Very dangerous derivative of Rugby.

But yeah, Rugby is #1, even though I've only seen a scant few games.

American Football has been proven to have more force per tackle than rugby. Having pads leads to not subconsciously slowing down, and throwing your entire body into a tackle because you know you will be relatively safe. Just throwing it out there if you are saying that it is more strenous because of the physical tackling. There are more injuries in rugby though despite the difference in force.

I dont know what is the most demanding sport, but I can only speculate some type of man v. man gladiator sport. What is more strenous than fighting for your life?

Wrestling, the real stuff, not the fake kind. Those guys are in great shape. You need to be very srong physically, have high endurance, be explosive, have quick hands and feet, and be mentally tough.

The American Football players he was referencing were early official/pro/league players

This is undoubtedly due to the fact that American football is more specialised allowing you to field larger players and have generally faster play (F = ma).  Rugby is more biased towards endurance with alot of the players having to play most or all of the game, running more, and with much fewer stopages than American football.

That's very true. All I know is that I wouldn't want to be tackled by a rugby player without pads, or a 300lb linebacker at full speed in pads.

I'd much rather be watching while it happens to some other poor sap;)

Bingo. If you miss out on one number, you have lost the game.

Not to mention that if two people get Bingo at the same time, it's a competition of who says it first.

It ages you terribly, too. Just go into any Bingo hall and see how old everyone looks.

NFL players have a life expectancy like 20+ years lower then the average human.

So... I'm going NFL.
