Multiplayer is necessary; otherwise, Uncharted 2 would be a great rental for many. Its sales would suffer. I didn't think the Versus mode in L4D was going to be any good, but it turned out to be terrific. I have faith in ND. Hopefully they can introduce non-intrusive online coop, and some type of interesting mp.

You have to be joking? Having your friends along for the campaign is wonderful as long as its done well. Thats why I loved L4D and HALO3's campaigns so well.

4 Player COOP sounds nice, unfortunately I sold my PS3. Uncharted 2 is what I wanted to play more than any other game on the PS3. It should kick the next God of Wars ass.

Please god say that this beta extends to Europe, or I may have to pop to America at the end of May.

This will definitely get me to get inFamous day 1, I was going to get it anyway at some point, but this will just push if forward

Naughty Dog have not done any multiplayer before apart from in their racers, but I am sure they are getting help from Insomniac, and I trust them to make it great, and the beta should make sure that it does work well

In the development of Uncharted, they had to completely relearn how to code as they had used their own coding method on PS1, and they were still only 2 years in full production. So this time, with the engine already in place, with only a few additions needed, they will have far more time to work on multiplayer as they need less time for their single player

wot ! didn't see that one coming. I'm definetely excited for the game and i hope they somehow implement the multiplayer well without it interferring with the singleplayer.
