good that there's no dual analogue sticks.
I only have one thumb per hand after all. How do they expect me to reach the symbol buttons at the same time as usr the right A-stick?

still, only rumors at this stage

Surely that's sarcasm?

not really...I have trouble enough playing my PSP for extended periods as it is, but imagine a shooter trying to look around and aim with the right analogue stick and shoot with X button (also on the right) at the same time.

It would be hellishly difficult

NVM. I've realised i must be being stupid. I do this on the Dual Shock controller as it is.

I think someone's slipped something interesting into my coffee. my brain is not functioning properly it seems.

As if the PSP 3000 wasn't a useless upgrade to start with. I won't even consider this one.

MAG and Heavy Rain? Obviously fake, no way there are ports of those coming to the PSP.

According to PSLS, Sony will be releasing an updated PSP handheld before the holiday season this year, one that will add significant hardware changes.

The PSP-4000 revision, according to sources, will be announced at the upcoming E3 event.

Debunking past rumors, touchscreen will not be added but the proprietary UMD format is a thing of the past. With the removal of the disc drive, the PSP will add a solid state drive and will keep a removable flash memory port.

The site also wouldn't confirm that the PSP-4000 will have a sliding screen, but implied it. There will also not be the addition of dual analog sticks, which has been hotly anticipated in all rumors.

Perhaps even more notably is that a few blockbuster games will be coming later this year including Little Big Planet, MAG, Heavy Rain and Shadow of the Colossus.

--------------------

Leaving those features out will be a big upset for many that were expecting this, as i am for one.  If this is true, i feel that the new PSP wont sell as well as it couldve.

And Shadow of the Colossus is having a new game? I didnt know that or am i missing something here?  Discuss.

The red proves that this article is fake. Shadow of the Colossus has not been announced or even rumoured for PSP. Trico will be a PS3 exclusive. Making a quality PS3 game takes long enough, without having to put extra effort into a version that will be lucky to sell a quarter of what the PS3 version sells, and will be much worse.

i dont think there will be a new psp model this year though if there is i would like it to have two analog sticks

Now playing: Gta4(ps3)I live in hope that one day cross game voice chat will come to the ps3

they oughta just make psp 2

now theyre up to 4000?

dumpin umd is nice, maybe it can last even half as long as ds now

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Dumping the umd drive would be a slap in the face in current psp owners. No umd drive in the psp2 would be fine with me. The psp4000 model should have a umd drive.
