i dont think the game needs realistic graphics at all. in fact, i much prefer games with a unique art style over realism. for full price, i dont want to spend my time looking at a game that looks ugly and ill suited for it.

Edge giving it a 9 too is huge... so glad this game turned out well. Wii deserves some creative new games (made by someone aside from Nintendo). Definitely looking forward to trying it.

yeah. i think it looks ugly and designed to appeal to young children and their mothers. they can make it look better without realism. their isnt just "realism" and "for little children".

hmmm... sweet I've been waiting for some good RPGs on the Wii, I will probably pick this up during the next dry spell in my gaming.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

i think it's graphics style adds a lot to its appeal

imagine Zack and Wiki with realistic graphics, it just doesn't fit

i like game with a stupid style : P

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

This game is absolutely brilliant. I'm an hour in too and it's just wonderful. I feel huge addiction rearing its head. Any of you concerned about the toony graphics are being daft. And renting a game with 80 hours playtime is insane. You might as well buy the thing. It's really eases you into the game.

I managed to kill off one of my grunts by attacking some snails. The death animation is pretty cool. Ghostie spirit things :)

Honestly the KZ2 DEMO was way too grey. I couldn't distinguish anything until I briefly saw blurs of red eyes. And then there was the aiming.............
