LOL...Your So funny...You act Like Enix was selling by the zillions on it's own...And the reason they keep making games for 360 is that is the Western Market here has alot of 360 support....especially in in the SCI-FI department

I generally agree with what you're trying to say, but I wouldn't really defend those sales.

 

It's safe to say that MS works together with SE to bring an RPG crowd to the 360...it's also Safe to that the PS3 owners expect to see RPG games mostly on PS3...as for the sales...you can't expect them to be that big when the majority of the 360 fanbase is FPS Oreinted..I Mean look at the sales of Halo3 and CoD4....You would think that KillZone 2 would gave PS3 the same scale...But so far that's not the case...Sounds Off topic but it's the truth the 360 has a smaller RPG fan Base...and due to the console Numbers in Japan...the Sales are not that bad....


by your own admission you said the 360 doesnt have as big of a jrpg fanbase... WELL NO DUH THATS WHY 360 JRPG EXCLUSIVE IS A MORONIC BUSINESS DECISION

Why can't they just dedicate these resources to Kingdom Hearts 3 instead (well only if it is on PS3)

I knew insanity was present at the heads of the company since this gen started. Way to ignore the biggest part of the audiences, unless of course this is being westernized and all the Japanese elements are being removed, in that case, then it's a good move (The insanity remark still stands)

I haven't played a mechwarrior before. If they had one on NES or SNES, maybe. I've played Battletech on Genesis, is that the same?

Well a quick look through VGC shows that sales have never really got past 500k, on the PS2 as well, so it does seem insanity. Then again, SEGA claim Yakuza 3 broke even selling under 500k, so if SE already have an engine in place, then perhaps it can do okay, especially if it is PS360 and released WW. But anyway, in these times, they should really be making sure that they get those Final Fantastys out there

Although, Yakuza 3 doesn't have the costs of localization like SO4, TLR, etc.
