They already made an Uncharted movie about 20 years ago. They changed his name, made him older, and gave him a whip, but other than that it's pretty true to the source material.

I think Van Damme would be about right for this caliber of a movie... I mean, low rent indiana jones. You won't get steven spilberg to direct...hell he sucked in making the real indiana jones 4 so you dont want him anyways.
