Yes; they should work.

Yes; they should work.
Also, is 2GB Ram enough or am I going to run into stuttering/framerate problems?
I was thinking of updating the RAM with another 2GB sometime in the future but to keep costs down at the moment I thought 2GB would suffice. Will it effect my performance to any significant degree?
BTW, thanks Soleron for the help and tips! Greatly appreciated!

2GB is fine for the games you're running, but with RAM so cheap you might as well get 4GB. Waiting 2-3 months will lower the costs of the other components enough so it should be possible.
If you plan to buy 2GB and then upgrade by 2GB later, you'll need to make sure you have enough free RAM slots. Also, if you only run one stick of RAM for the time being you'll lose dual-channel support which could slightly impact performance.
Sorry for all the questions, but I keep remembering things I forgot to ask and have no real knowledge about myself. But is that 500W PSU going to be sufficient for my system? Also, is the cooling that comes with the Antec 300 case enough?

Don't know about the cooling, but 500W will definitely be enough.

Ah, ok. Thanks. Yeah, I think I'll consider another stick of Ram because they are very cheap.
Do you think this system would be able to play current generation games (up to 2011/2012) on at least playable settings? I'm thinking multiplatform releases (360/ps3), not the next Crysis of course. I don't want to have to signifficantly update (minus ram here and there) for another 2 or so years.
OH, BTW, another question, lol. My Mobo has a PCI-e X16 1.0 support, but the vg card I'm getting is 2.0. I know that they are backward and forward compatable and after some research I came to the conclusion that the performance loss on a pci 1.0 board is very small, but is that still true with newer cards?

It depends on OS, which you will be using. If you have XP, than 2GB are enough. If you have Vista, go for 4GB.

I'm running 3D games on Vista and have never even come close to using all of my 2GB. 4GB is a 'nice to have' but you could better spend any additional cash on the video card.

Yes, that's a fair assessment.
