Do you think this system would be able to play current generation games (up to 2011/2012) on at least playable settings? I'm thinking multiplatform releases (360/ps3), not the next Crysis of course. I don't want to have to signifficantly update (minus ram here and there) for another 2 or so years.

OH, BTW, another question, lol. My Mobo has a PCI-e X16 1.0 support, but the vg card I'm getting is 2.0. I know that they are backward and forward compatable and after some research I came to the conclusion that the performance loss on a pci 1.0 board is very small, but is that still true with newer cards?
