They'll likely mention a PC version in development a month or two after the game comes out so that they don't kill 360 sales of it. I can't imagine them not bringing the game to PC since it's an Unreal Engine 3 game and development on the 360 is so similar to the PC.

This game is published by MS so it will come to PC... in about two years. That seems to be their schedule.

Yeah. I really do want a 360. I love Gears, Viva Pinata, Mass Effect...but wait, all those are coming to PC! And I'm upgrading my PC this fall so it'll be quite high end...

Even so, I'd still like a 360 for the games like Halo 3 (at least for a few years I'm sure it won't come to PC), Ace Combat 6, XBLA content, etc...I may get a 360 before summer of next year...I just need to tell myself it's worth it. With a high-end PC, I've got a lot of the games set already it seems...not a 360 hater...just might not be worth it...argh.

BTW, I'd just like to add that this game looks freakin' amazing. The more I see, the more I'm impressed.

Ben, by next summer you'll probably be able to pick up a Pro and 5 or 6 used games for $400. That's a pretty good deal.

I wonder how far away it is until games will have the ability to lip sync to whatever audio is provided on the fly.  For example if they had Japanese audio the characters lips would automatically sync to that instead of having to have programmers/animators spend countless hours working on the changes and/or others having to work on the Japanese dialogue until it comes close to matching the lip movement of the English dialogue.  Maybe Unreal Engine 3 includes the ability to do this to some extent?

Probably not in a sophisticated way...but trust me, in a similar way that we look back at games from 5-10 years ago, we'll look back on these games and wonder why we thought it looked so great. I realize the art direction and closeness to photorealism can only get so far, but the AI and the physics systems will continue to get as sophisticated as possible.

I just got a Pro with 3 games for 250€ on eBay,(one month old, with warranty) thats why I´m not upgading my PC for at least a year, PC parts just get cheap much faster than Consoles, so buying a high-end PC now will cost you twice as much as in a year from now. If I´d upgrade my PC now I´d spend 250€ on the GPU alone, in a year I might be able to build a PC good enough for games like crysis for 500$-600$, as we could see in the "500$ gaming PC" thread that is not possible right now.

But maybe I´m just not that impressed with many new PC games aside of Crysis and Stacraft2 (which my PC can still handle)...... besides that, there is no way in hell I´m waiting any longer than necessary for Mass Effect. This game is to me what Brawl is to Ben... it thats possible.

P.S. I´m only mentioning my 360 so much because it should have been here by wednesday and I´m losing my patience....."looks out window... IPS truck in sight..." I guess if you want to save cash you have to wait.....

EDIT: Hurra, it finally came, right on time for the weekend.... which I´ll be spending somewhere else partying... oh well, guess I´ll have to party, poor me :)

El Duderino...please tell me you didn't read that Mass Effect prequel book...I skimmed it, it was dull as hell...way too descriptive about every little sci-fi element...
