The guy seems to be hinting at Hit Maker as the developer.

Disgaea 3 was my first NIS game, and it is totally brilliant. Looking forward to this.

That's what I'm confused about >_>.

The writer stated it that way in neogaf (unless he's a fraud, of course).

Eh, I'll stand by and say that this is just a localization or they NIS will something nice for their American fans by announcing in America.

If you enjoyed Disgaea 3 that much, you really should try some of their other works. Disgaea: Hour of Darkness I think, as much as I love number 3, is easily the best in the series. La Pucelle is a great game, as is Phantom Brave (namely for it's unique gameplay). Although I haven't played Soul Nomad and World Eaters, I hear it's quite good.

I'd especially recommend Disgaea 1 though.

On Topic: Any NIS gaming news is greats news.
