He then showed Excite Truck (Excite franchise isn't new), Project H.A.M.M.E.R. (Which as far as we know is dead) and then Disaster: Day of Crisis.. Didn't even release it the US reggie!

I still remember how bad that conference was. Nintendo's conference will much better at this E3. I just hope they show off some good core titles to expect this year or the near future.

Hmm... I don't think that companies do these press conferences to entertain people who read sites like this. They are meant to be able to get money people pumped up, and lay out strategies to instill investor confidence.

It was really lacking in content, which was the whole problem. I mean, Spore Creatures, Guitar Hero: On Tour? When you're showing C-List games as part of a very short list of games for the biggest show of the year, you know something's wrong.

Yeah it was sad that that really was their entire Q4 lineup.. apart from mario sluggers and warioland.. Dunno why they didnt show them too..

Just finished the 2006 conference, It was funny, Reggie was talking about how E3 is always about what's hot and what's not and he said that Nintendo hoped that every year everyone will walk out of their Nintendo's media briefing and say 'yeah, these guys are the hot story of the show' I lol'd :P

I know that they did apologise last year for their conference but they didn't really have any content to show.. This year will be different, they have lots of stuff being worked on so I expect a solid show, not as great as 2006 lol but solid enough :)
