And these are just a few examples of the games that have gotten high sales due to "legs".
The point of this thread is to tell you ... This isn't an excuse. We've got a reason when we call "legs". It's not something we've made up, like some of you seem to think. Look at the numbers above and see just how staggering the difference between Opening Week and LTD are for some of them ... And when looking at CoD5 and Shaun White, you need to also take into account that these games have just been out for... 6 months, right? Legs will continue to pull them higher.
This is by no means saying that all Wii games are going to have legs. Not at all. Some drop very quickly, never to be seen again. But legs are a lot more prominent on the Wii than on most consoles, and anyone who ridicules Wii sales early on in the game's life should do well to remember that.
