Actually, it so happens that this site has more PS3 owners than Wii owners, and very few 360 owners. Pretty much no DS, PSP or PC gamers

I'm assuming it is just that you are noticing the 360 fans more for some reason.

As an example, look at the most popular games on the main page

Currently
PS3 - 5
Wii - 2
DS - 2
360 - 1
PSP - 0
PC - 0

And it's fairly unusual for the DS to have 2 games, and for the PS3 to have as few as 5

And the majority of the site users are PS3 fans.

^oh, then it means 360 owners around here post more because:

a)They are younger and therefore have more time to spend posting all day.

b)Xbox owners genuinely hate and express their hate more often against the PS3.

c) They have more time to post since they rarely have anything to play their games on (cheap shot, I know).

d) They post more 'cause they're never happy even if their favourite is beating the dust out of the PS3, they must insist it will prevail at all costs and destroy Sony and rule the world, etc etc.

e) All of the above.

i hate to break it to you but i'm pretty sure PS3 owners post more around here, not positive on that, but come on,, who's counting >_>

In last generation, PS2 had the best library of games. Lot of the games weren´t available anywhere else, were exclusive. So, it´s logical, that most people owned PS2.

On the other hand, today generation is different. I don´t want to discuss about numbers of people at VGC, but people wordwide.

Most of the people own Wii. For casual that´s enough. If you into "core" games, you can choose PS3, X360 and PC. Amongst these three platforms, X360 is probably cheapest.

No, it just has a cost many of them feel is too high considering they have a console that can play most of the games that are on the PS3.

i bought it day it came out, didnt see ps3 anywhere, thats why

I was a PS2 owner that patiently waited for the right timing to get a PS3. It was well worth the wait. ^___^
